Working for L’Arche
We employ around 40 support workers, a mixture of ‘live-in’ workers, and more typical live-out Support Workers, some full-time and some part-time. We are committed to the unique L’Arche model of live in workers and are always happy to hear from people who are interested in doing this. You need to be motivated by a desire to share life in community, and able to demonstrate a capacity to develop the professional competences required. Further information can be found by clicking here.
We also employ Support Workers who don’t live in the houses, and work more typical rota patterns. An openness to discover what it means to be part of the community aspect of our identity is essential for these roles, as well as the competences required in care and support work . Vacancies are always advertised on our website here.
Our current development plans focus on day activities, Self Directed Support and responding to new wishes to move to smaller services. For more information click here.
